Exciting Updates for Meta AI on WhatsApp

Over the past six months, WhatsApp has been testing one-on-one and group chats with Meta AI, along with AI sticker creation. We’re thrilled to announce that more people will soon have the chance to explore Meta AI’s features directly within WhatsApp and they have rolled out several new upgrades to Meta AI, which will be introduced gradually, including expanding its availability to more countries.

Expanding to New Places

Meta AI is already available in English in the U.S., and now they’re extending its reach to over a dozen new countries. Users in Australia, Canada, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe can now access Meta AI in English, with more countries to follow soon.

Ask Meta AI

You can now ask Meta AI questions directly from the search feature at the top of your chats. Just start typing, and Meta AI will offer suggestions or let you continue typing your full question. Whether you’re curious about sports, entertainment, or current events, Meta AI provides answers from top search providers.

Imagine an image and watch it appear instantly! As you type, Meta AI reveals a new image in real time. You can even get a video of the image creation process to share. This feature uses the latest image models from Meta AI, released.
